The site’s special section on work and eldercare includes commentary on the Family and Medical Leave Act by one of the law’s key architects. The organization’s online support group connects caregivers, via email, in an exchange of ideas and emotions.

Users may also find local resources through the site’s regional directory. was created to help caregivers in Arkansas get the answers and support needed in order to take of their loved ones and themselves.

Carelink offers a wide range of eldercare services for senior citizens in Little Rock and Central Arkansas, including Meals-On-Wheels, Home Care, Senior Centers, and aging information and assistance.
Reynolds Center on Aging UAMS
The UAMS Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging is the UAMS Institute where the needs of an aging generation are met with the highest standards of service, research, and care currently available. This includes the Arkansas Aging Initiative, a program developed by the Reynolds Institute at UAMS. The Arkansas Aging Initiative has developed eight satellite Centers on Aging throughout the state. No other state in the country has a similar network of health care and educational services for seniors. Through these Centers on Aging, every older adult in Arkansas can reach quality health care in less than 60 minutes.
AARP Driving Course, The Reynolds Institute hosts the AARP Driver Safety Class every other month on Saturday morning beginning at 8:30. The four-hour classroom course is taught by an AARP volunteer who incorporates video segments, personal experience, and group quizzes into the morning instruction.
