Mike began his social work career in 2011. Prior to joining the AEAP staff, Mike worked extensively with children and families, and in the public school system while seeing adults in an outpatient setting, too. Mike also has experience working in medical case management, working on interdisciplinary teams alongside physicians, nurses, and other medical staff. Mike excels at locating resources within the community and connecting clients to those resources. Mike has training through the Department of Defense to work with both active-duty military members and National Guard personnel and their families, too. Mike grew up the son of a U.S. Army soldier, living throughout the country with frequent moves, growing up alongside diverse populations on-base.
